Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development:
    - Design and develop mechanical systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams
    - Create detailed CAD models and engineering drawings
    - Conduct simulations and feasibility studies to optimize designs
  • Prototyping and Testing:
    - Supervise prototype fabrication
    - Analyze test data
    - Troubleshoot mechanical issues
    - Provide design improvement recommendations
  • Documentation:
    - Maintain accurate design records
    - Prepare technical reports and presentations
    - Ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Continuous Improvement:
    - Stay updated on mechanical engineering advancements
    - Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing innovative solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a closely related field) from an accredited university
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Autodesk Fusion 360, Inventor, or similar)
  • Basic understanding of finite element analysis (FEA) would be advantageous
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
