As an Electronics Engineer with specialised expertise in Digital and Analog Electronics, you will be at the forefront of our mission, contributing significantly to the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance electronic designs that are at the core of our innovative products and services. To be effective in this role, you should also possess an understanding of firmware / software that work hand-in-hand with specific electronic designs. Skills in HDLs and RTL based digital design is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
Design, develop, simulate, prototype, test and productize reliable and high-quality electronic designs.
Identify necessary components, modules and subsystems, identifying suppliers and vendors as needed.
Create technical documentation, plans, instructional manuals and reports documenting electronic designs, board / subsystem functionality, development approach, test procedures, usage etc.
Implement and improve the functionalities of our robotic systems, embedded systems, sensors, and sensor networks through innovative electronic designs.
Work collaboratively with team members involved in electronics, firmware, software and mechanical systems, in a cross-functional manner as needed.
Actively participate in design reviews, problem solving and other discussions providing constructive feedback.
Prioritise tasks, solve problems, and deliver quality work adhering to deadlines.
Validate product functionalities against specified requirements, identify gaps and propose improvements.
Produce improvements in product and process quality and efficiency.
Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies, applying them to innovative solutions relevant to your area of work.
Embrace agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

Proven professional experience and track record as an Electronics Engineer.
Candidates with 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role may apply.
Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field, with relevant work experience.
Knowledge of:
- Theory and Practice of Analog and Digital Electronics
- Schematic, Board level design, board layout, interconnections
- Microcontrollers, Peripherals and interfacing
- Programmable devices (FPGA)
- Power, thermal and reliability aspects
Knowledge of one or more of the following is desired:
- Programming in C / C++ on any platform
- DSP
- VHDL / Verilog
Solid understanding of best practices and guidelines in practical electronics.
Attention to detail, good teamwork and Initiative.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective technical communication and seamless teamwork.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is beneficial.

Preferred Skills:

Well versed in one or more CAD tools for schematic capture, PCB layout, CAM generation etc.
Adept at probing / testing, debugging and troubleshooting electronic systems including hardware / software interfaces.
Ability to prototype / test / simulate / validate / troubleshoot complex electronics.
